Dr. Mai's vision of patient care began during her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto where she earned her Honour's Bachelor of Science Degree. Throughout this time her growing passion for health promotion and rehabilitation ultimately led her to earn her Doctorate of Chiropractic from the New York Chiropractic College and Medical Acupuncture Certification from McMaster University.  Dr. Mai followed her passion and continue her education at OCTCM and completed the acupuncture diploma program. Through this education journey, Dr. Mai  developed her own acupuncture style, combining both traditional and functional approaches to care.

 

Hunger for knowledge in the field of manual soft tissue led Dr Mai to earn Full Body Certification in Active Release Technique (ART), and Graston Therapy, FST(level 1), FRC, FRA, FMS, SFMA. She continues to update her knowledge in the field of pain management to better help her patient.

 

Dr. Mai is dedicated to providing evidence based, patient centered care and comprehensive health management and have a special interest in evidence based rehabilitation.

On her free time, Dr. Mai enjoys spending time with her dog-friend, golfing, hiking, painting, and photography.
